Aura Treated Amethyst Slab

“Aura” stones, also referred to as “rainbow aura” or “opal aura” stones, is an umbrella term to describe a process of artificially treating stones of the quartz variety. In this case, a natural amethyst stone is treated with gold and iridium in a permanent process to create a rainbow-like iridescence.
