Smokey Quartz Skull Pendant

Smoky quartz is one of the most grounding crystals in the mineral kingdom. It is a variation of common quartz, with rich brown to black hues.

The stone gets its rich colors from natural radioactivity in the earth. When the radiation from nearby minerals interacts with the aluminum impurities in the silicon dioxide structure, it creates the trademark smoky colors that range from pale tan to nearly black.
